jadian, you're my soulmate!!! *g* Nara is typically on repeat, i love that track so much. i ordered the cd last january after i heard Pompeii from the spiderman soundtrack. i've had it over a year and it's still THE most frequently played cd i own. i want a new cd by them!!!

I've been listening to The Pogues (my staple favorite), U2, Dead can Dance, and lots of what passed for punk in the '90's, and random stuff from the '80's. though I think I might follow crazy a soon and pull out my country music for a bit.
The Pogues are great. At least before they kicked out the continuously drunk Shane McGowan.
Tyle: You should check out Flogging Molly. A bit more punk than the Pogues, but equally enjoyable.

Began listening this morning to Hayseed Dixie, KISS MY GRASS: A HILLBILLY TRIBUTE TO KISS.
It's Kiss songs. Performed with guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin. And backwoods drawls.
I gotta admit, it works.
They have two other cd's out, one of them an AC/DC tribute. Which I think I'm gonna have to check out.

Heh. I just shared these files. I think I might buy the Chevelle album. I saw them last weekend and they were pretty cool.
I bought two used cassette tapes last week. That's all I can use in my car. :p
Garbage and Social Distortion
Only cost about $7 for both of 'em. Luckily they play. I think the Social D tape might encounter problems in the near future. I'll only listen to it on special occasions. The Garbage tape is in pretty good shape though. Especially for ~$3

I've been meaning to check out the Donnas. I've missed a couple of shows they've had here recently. I think they're gonna play at Lolapalooza.
I have their 1st C.D. and the last one.
the 1st one I don't ever recamend (yes it IS that bad)
But the last one "spend the night" is like 180 turn to rockville.
